A few well deserved acknowledgements: to all who participated in our recent Open Night which acted as a wonderful showcase of what the school has to offer, in particular the children who helped on the night. They typify the best of Shanbally NS. Thank you to our 6th class, under the leadership of Sandra Moran, who provided an excellent learning opportunity for the whole school during the recent Science Week. Well done to Marc Galland who won 2 gold medals in the recent Munster Swimming Gala in Limerick. Marc will now represent the school in the National Championships in February. We were delighted to hear that one of our past pupils, Alex Sheehan, recently won an award as part of the Annual CBC Awards.
